My experience with ensembles on campus contributed greatly to my growth of a musician and practicing the art I studied.
CAB
The Campus Activities Board, or CAB, is the event planning programing board at UAFS. This group plans many major events for the campus community. King served as a general member for 1 year, membership assistant for 1 year, and Director of Events for 2 years.
What is Cub Camp?
Cub Camp is the freshmen orientation program dedicated to helping up to 500 new students adjust to college life right out of high school. This program allows new students to meet current ones and learn from their experiences through small group conversation, games, and activities over the course of three day. My position was to help with the major planning process of the orientation, communicate with staff on major updates, and provide training for the 120 staff on expectations and how to be the best resource for new students. Cub Camp is one of my favorite events to work on campus and meet all sorts of new people coming on to campus!
